A £40,000 terrace for a red-brick family home: new retaining walls holding up a raised Yorkshire stone patio, with steps, planters and drainage built in. Everything was built to the structural engineer's specification, and the natural stone will keep weathering in over time.

We carried out the main structural works on this extension for JMR Developments: steelwork, masonry and the timber flat roof. Builders and developers can bring us in on a labour-only basis for the structural stage of their jobs.

Six new dormers built into a stone slate roof, each one timber framed, sheathed and wrapped before being clad in red cedar. The cedar weathers naturally and sits well against the old stone.
